sooo.... treefort was lit.

To say our first year as a Treefort Music Fest Second Chance Stage was a success would be a massive understatement. The sheer amount of people, kind words received, and good times had gave us the all the feels. Community events like this always seem to remind us why started a brewery in the first place.

We want to give a major shout out to all of the amazing bands(full list below) that graced our stage and kept the party rollin', the great folks on the Treefort team, and most of all a great big thanks to all of you... our Lost Grove family.

Free Creatures - All we can say is, "Woah!"

Farming cannabis in Ashland, OR by day and bending minds with their music by night, Free Creatures has cultivated a sultry sound reminiscent of early 2000's underground hip hop that has matured into a more soulful and space-y phase. A drum kit, one guitar, and a stand-up base is all this band needs to make a lot of sound... but like in a good way, you know? Pair that with the backpack style rap of Marv Ellis and (dare we say) sexy voice of his wife and fellow front woman, Emily Turner... and what you're left with is total vibes, ready to get any crowd moving. Boot juice - We'll take two, please.

We don't know what Boot Juice is... but pour us another glass. Although this 7-piece band is out of the Treasure Valley they certainly don't sound like a "local band". They have found an interesting sound in the ever-shrinking spaces between bluegrass, bluesy rock 'n' roll, and country. Imagine Creedence decided to add a horn section and really lean into some Stevie Ray guitar solos. Powerful vocals from several members produce dynamic harmonies backed up by a classically American feel.
